Arleene Watson

Arleene Williams Watson, 71, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, January 2, 2011. Born February 19, 1939 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Carey Arden and Mazie Middie Amos Williams and wife of fifty years, of the late Claud Dee Watson, Jr. She was a retired dietician with the Greenville Hospital System after 29 years of serv ice and a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Joel Watson and wife Cheryl of Spartanburg; three grandsons, Andy Watson and wife Kelly of Greer, JonPaul Watson and wife Carrie of St. Louis, MO, and Jesse Watson and wife Emily of Spartanburg; three great-grandchildren, Caroline, Eli, and Lucy; two sisters, Margaret Bailey of Walnut Grove and Sheila Towery of Roebuck; and a special friend, David Hames of Drayton. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45 Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Andy Watson and Rev. JonPaul Watson Etombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex.
