Archie Lee

Archie Doyle Lee, 83, of Pacolet, SC, died Monday, August 1, 2016, at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center, Union, SC. Born February 3, 1933, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Archie and Geneva Whiting Lee. A U. S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Lee was a member of Pacolet Mills Church of God and formerly employed with Timkin Bearing Company and Pacolet Manufacturing Company. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Brackins Lee of Pacolet, SC; children, Keith Lee of Pacolet, SC, Bob Nunn (Alison) of Southampton, England, Rhonda Lawrence of Pacolet, SC, and Craig Lee (Stacey) of Pacolet Mills, SC; grandchildren, Jason Pack (Jessie) April "Katie" Pack, Dana Lee, Josh Lee (Samantha), Emma Nunn, and Nicola Nunn; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Hall, Liam Lee, Abby and Owen Bradburn, Olivia Bragg, and Jack Aaron Todd. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Bryan Lee; and sisters, Eloise Blanton, Mildred Cook, and Helen Lee. Visitation will be 11:30 AM-12:45 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Hutchins. Burial, with military honors, will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
