April Greene

April Michele Greene, 32, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at her home. Born June 14, 1978 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Mike and Cathy Dukes and also the daughter of Gary Greene. April was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Survivors include her parents; a sister, Whitney Greene of Columbia; two brothers, Michael Greene of Columbia, and Shannon Dukes of Campobello; a grandmother, Joyce P. Walker of Spartanburg; a special son, Jordan Hayes of Rutherfordton, NC; and a grandmother, Ann Wilson of Jonesboro, GA. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Virginia Greenway; a grandfather, Leonard Peru Wilson; and her special companion, Larry Hayes. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2011 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Brian McCall. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
