Annie Motts

Annie Barner Millwood Motts, 87, of 279 Walker Street, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at her home. Born June 19, 1922, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Maggie Alvis Barner. She was first married to the late Paul Millwood and then to the late Paul Motts. She was retired from Arkwright Mills and was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Maggie Millwood Burns of the home, and Faye Millwood Mason of Pacolet; her grandson, Tony Watson; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Mae Stephens of Pacolet; and two stepsons. She was predeceased by her grandson, Mike Harvey; three brothers; and one sister. Visitation will be 11:00-12:30 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Pacolet Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier and the Rev. Norman Band.
