Annette Thompson

Mildred Annette Jones Thompson, 82, of Pacolet, SC, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at her home. Born May 31, 1933, in Pacolet, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Ollie Manis Jones and widow of James "Skinny" Floyd Thompson. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church and retired from Milliken after 42 years of service. Survivors include her son, Clint H. Thompson (Jane Sprouse) of Pacolet, SC; grandchildren, Angel Thompson and Jamie Powell, both of Central Pacolet, SC, and Rustin James Thompson of Waterloo, SC; great-grandchildren, Anthony Gilliam, Jordan Gilliam, Katie Powell, and Katlyne Powell, all of Central Pacolet, SC; great-great-granddaughter, Serenity Gilliam of Pacolet, SC; and sisters, Doris Hogan and Sylvia Motts, both of Pacolet, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by eight sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, June 12, 2015, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pacolet Mills Baptist Church, PO Box 660, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373.
