Anne Seay

Mildred Anne Montgomery Seay, 84, of Columbus, NC, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.  She was born on April 16, 1937 in Blackstock, SC, a daughter of the late J. B. and Opal Cook Montgomery. Anne was married to the late Henry M. Seay.

Anne was a hairdresser, a member of Mill Creek Church of the Brethren in Green Creek, NC, and volunteered with Mobile Meals and Blue Star Mothers.  She was a wonderful mother, a strong person, and loved by all who met her.  Her faith guided her through life and comforted her in hard times.

Surviving are two daughters, Allison Scruggs (Tracy) of Rutherfordton, NC and Candace Seay Folks (Alan) of Asheville, NC; a grandson, Johnathon Boswell (Laura) of Cape Carteret, NC; a granddaughter, Donna Brook Boswell; 3 great-grandsons, Owen Atkinson, Landon Boswell and Jackson Boswell; two sisters, Nancy Younge and Ruth Whitaker; and her brother, Eddie Montgomery.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3477 Bethlehem Rd, Blackstock, SC 29014, conducted by the Rev. Tim Foster.
