Anne Brown

Anne G. Brown, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 24, 1945, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Walter Greene and Annette Whitehead Greene and widow of James H. Brown. Considered the "Best Mom in the World", Mrs. Brown was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Roebuck, SC and retired from nursing with Spartanburg General Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Annette Bradburn (Kenneth) of Moore, SC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, James W. Greene Jr. (Nancy) of Apopka, FL; nephew, James Whitehead Greene Jr. of Boulder, CO; and several close and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Laura G. Willingham; and nephew, David Lee Greene. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joe Burnett and the Rev. James L. Oliver. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
