Anna Scruggs

Anna Williams Scruggs, 68, died Friday, September 11, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 17, 1947 in Murnau, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Lilli Williams. She was also predeceased by her paternal grandparents, the late Joe A. and Annie B. Williams. Anna was raised in their home. Anna is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Gary Scruggs. Mrs. Scruggs was retired from Kapstone, Inc. and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Gary Scruggs, Jr., and daughter, Stacey Scruggs, of Cowpens, SC; grandchildren, Brittney, Todd, Lacey Elisabeth, and Adam; great grandchildren, Bella, Hayden, and Nate; a sister, Sharon Marie Williams Quinn and her husband, Robert of Topeka, KS; and three half-brothers and one half-sister. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 14, 2015 at Oakdale Baptist Church, 225 Oak Dale Rd., Cowpens, SC 29330, conducted by the Rev. Joel Gardner. Burial will follow in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, 175 Cemetery Street, Cowpens, SC 29330. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakdale Baptist Children's Fund, 225 Oak Dale Rd., Cowpens, SC 29330. The family will be at the home.
