Ann Wood

Ann Lister Wood, 63, of 109 Saluda Street, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 24, 1945, in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Winfred and Nancy Ann Sloan Lister. She was retired from Cryovac with 32 years of service and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald Lee Wood; a brother, Winfred Lister and his wife Ruth of Taylors; a brother-in-law, Arthur Wood and his wife Marie of Woodruff; and nieces and nephews, David Lister, his wife Janet, and their daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Ben Dellinger of Greer, Donna Lister of Taylors, Angie, Lee, Josh, and Jessica Turner of Woodruff, and Todd, Christy, and Autumn Wood of Townville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Mike McGee. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the James W. and Vera Crocker Endowment Fund, North Greenville University, P. O. Box 1892, Tigerville, SC 29688; or to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 350 North Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
