Ann Hoag

Ann Setzer Hoag, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Landrum Hospice House. Born June 22, 1932 in Morganton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lenoir and Mary Emiline Hallburton Setzer and the widow of William Herbert Hoag. Ann was retired from the State of Florida Horticulturist. She was a member of Croft Baptist Church and a member of the Joy Club. Survivors include daughters, Marsha Penland of the home; Betty Manalo of Arcadia, SC; sons, Donald Grimes of the home; Allen Grimes of the home; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sister, Faye Shirlen of Morganton, NC; brothers, L.A. Setzer of Hickory, NC; and Albert Setzer of Morganton, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her sister, Mary Ellen Shell. Visitation will be 1:00 - 1:45 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Croft Baptist Church, 4190 East Croft Circle, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM at the church.
