Annie Dell Morgan Forrest, 92, of Greenville, SC, died Thursday, October 2, 2014, at her home. Born May 19, 1922, in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Alexander Morgan and Nancy Jane Fraley Morgan, and widow of Reginald Forrest. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Forrest was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Richfield and Grace Christian Church of Greenville. She completed cosmetology school in Salisbury, NC and for over 25 years she enjoyed a variety of notable and endearing clients in Washington DC, San Francisco, and San Jose, CA. For the next 27 years, Ms. Ann as she was affectionately known, began her new career as a floral designer for Coggins Flowers & Gifts in Spartanburg, SC. After retirement, at age 82, she started as a part-time floral designer at BiLo Floral on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC. Her quick wit, impish smile, and healing hugs will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Survivors include her children, Brad Forrest (Nancy) of Fountain Inn, SC, Beverley Forrest Cook (Leon) of Greenville, SC, Brian Forrest of Spartanburg, SC, and Tamara Forrest Nimmons (Mark) of Duncan, SC; grandsons, Jamie Forrest of Fountain Inn, SC and Zach Forrest of Duncan, SC. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Monday, October 6, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by Pastor Wyatt Brown. Burial will be on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 16920 Stokes Ferry Rd., Richfield, NC 28137.
