Angeline Easler

Angeline White Easler "Cupid", 99, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017. She was born to John King White and Cynthia Smith White on August 13, 1917 in Simpsonville, SC. She was the tenth of twelve children. Angeline was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Glen A. Easler; and grandson, Patrick K. Easler. She is survived by daughter, Glenda E. Dudley (Mike); son, Timothy K. Easler; grandson, David M. Dudley (Kelly); granddaughter, Kelly Marie Turner; and sister, Emily McAbee. Angeline was an active member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church and retired from Aug. W. Smith Company where she worked from 1967 to the 1980's. She was a graduate of Simpsonville High School. Angeline was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and grandmother. Even in her declining years she kept her sense of humor and will be truly missed. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Caleb Wofford. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to White Oak Estates Activity Fund, 400 Webber Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
