Angela (Angie) Long Cooper, 54, of Cowpens, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, she was born on September 27, 1969, a daughter of the late David Morrow Long, Sr. and Doris Marie O’Dell Long Hagan.
She was office manager of Tate Metalworks and owner of Cooper’s Essential Creations and a member of Ben Avon Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Donnie Joe Cooper; sons, Steven Tyler Kirby (Vanessa), Dylan Glenn Kirby, Evan Morrow Kirby (Hannah), Brandon Carr McLyea; step daughters, Crystal Landin and Stephanie Kennedy; step sons, Nicholas Cooper (Tracy) and Phillip Cooper (Mary); grandchildren, Ian Nicholas Kirby (Doodle Bug), Halie Cooper, Holly Cooper, Avery Lail, Elijah Lail, Trinity Kennedy, Isabella Kennedy, and Marah Landin; great granddaughter, Maggie Lail; sister, Denise Jett (David); Brother, Randy O’Dell (Erica).
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm Wednesday, October 11,2023 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, October 12,2023, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Larry Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
