Andrea Carper

Andrea Leigh Fowler Carper, 51, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her home. Born May 29, 1971, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Reginald J. Fowler, Sr. and was the wife of the late Spartanburg County Sheriff Deputy Kevin E. Carper.

Andrea was a graduate of Dorman High School and Spartanburg Technical College as an LPN. She went on to complete her ADN at USCS as an RN. She worked at Mary Black in the PCCU and at Spartanburg Regional in Endoscopy.

Survivors include her daughters, Kyleigh Carper Cardoza (Danny) of Pauline, SC, MaryKate Carper of Norman, OK, and Caroline Carper of Edmond, OK, mother, Mary L. Fowler of Moore, SC, her brothers, Dr. Reg Fowler Jr. (Ronda) of Winston-Salem, NC and Jon C. Fowler of Spartanburg, SC, nephews, Tanner Fowler and Braedy Fowler, both of Raleigh, NC, and nieces, Olivia Fowler and Lillian Fowler, both of Winston-Salem, NC.

Visitation will be at 10:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at St. James United Methodist Church, 213 N. Lanford Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:30 am at the church, conducted by The Rev. Andrew Wolfe.
