Amanda Robicheaux Corbin, 82, of 400 Webber Road, formerly of Hazelwood Drive, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at White Oak Estates. Born January 2, 1927, in Houma, LA, she was the daughter of the late Junius and Jeanette Darcey Robicheaux and the wife of the late Mason Corbin. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Richard E. Corbin and his wife Karon, a granddaughter, Monica Corbin Turner, and a great-grandson, Corbin Bradley, all of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Randall Corbin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church conducted by the Rev. James M. Crowley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of her son, Richard Corbin, 481 Saranac Drive, Spartanburg.
