Alzira Geiss

Alzira Feldmann Geiss, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at her home. Born September 14, 1924, in Santo Angelo, Brazil, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Alzira Hexsel Feldmann and widow of Bruno Roberto Geiss. Mrs. Geiss was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are children and grandchildren, Carlos Geiss (Sonia) of Spartanburg and Hilton Head, SC and his children, Christopher, Andrew, and Hunter Geiss; Ruth Geiss of the home; Paulo Geiss (Beth) of Charleston, SC and their daughter, Courtney Geiss; Fernando Geiss (Rose-Marie) of Greenville, SC and her children, Gabriel and Jonathan; and Carolyn Stephens (Adam) of Spartanburg, SC and their children, Lindsay, Hayden, and Emma Stephens. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, William Geiss. A private service was conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Mike Shackelford.
