Alliene Mccallister

Alliene Littlefield McCallister, 81, of 121 Hancock Avenue (Cedar Acres), died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 23, 1927, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Madison and Nell Atkison Littlefield. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg where she was a longtime nursery volunteer. Survivors include her husband, Lewis O. McCallister, Sr.; a son, Lewis O. McCallister, Jr. of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Harriett M. Crockett and her husband Robert of Richmond, VA; two grandsons, William Crockett and Andrew Crockett; a sister, Nell Purser of Inman; a brother, Jim Littlefield of Campobello; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Ondrea Black and the Rev. Robert C. Morgan.
