Allen Williams

Allen Bruce Williams, 61, of 1636 Hayne Street, Arcadia, SC, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Bruce, the son of the late Willie Lee and Helen Pruitt Williams, was born in Glendale, SC. Bruce was part owner of Williams Grill. He was of the Christian faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Jayne Fricks Marsh-Williams; daughters, Jennifer Nicole "Nikki" (Chad) Huntley of Boiling Springs and her mother, Diane Dunn Williams, and Ashley Williams of Charlotte, NC and her mother, Karen; a son, Allen Billy Williams of the home and his mother Sarah O. Williams; stepdaughters, Beverly M. (Roger) Luther of Greer, SC and Pam M. (Jamie) Phillips of Boiling Springs, SC; stepson, Lamar Glenn "Mark" (Jessica) Marsh of Wellford, SC; a brother, Ricky Lee (Barbie) Williams of Wellford, SC; grandchildren, Tyler and Conner Huntley and Wesley Williams and his mother, Vicki; step grandchildren, Drew and Cora Luther, Kasey and Brandon Phillips, Kelly, Reagan and Annabelle Marsh; a cousin Nancy W. (Terry) Vinson of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces, Sonya W. (Demetrio) Garcia and children Tilijah and Nila, Holly Williams, Tina W. (Tim) Horton of Arcadia, SC and their children, Chase and Kacey; sister-in-law, Marty (Smokey) Burgess of Pelzer, SC; brothers-in-law, Bob Fricks of Florida, Carroll (Frances) Fricks of Pelzer, SC, and Don (Mary) Fricks of Bowling Green, KY. In addition to his parents, Bruce was predeceased by a son, Shaun Williams and his mother, Rita Teague Kennedy; brothers, Terry and Mike (Sandra) Williams; a special cousin, Jason Fulbright; and father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Elvie Fricks of West Pelzer. Pallbearers will be Tyler Huntley, Tim Horton, Chase Horton, Jamie Phillips, Demetrio Garcia, and Brandon Phillips. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
