Allan Weir

Allan Dean Weir 70, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 9, 1942, in Moore, SC, he was the son of the late Luther Hugh and Loree Knighton Weir. Mr. Weir was a retired carpenter and very active member and usher at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Anita Lynch Weir; son, Randy A. Weir and wife Marsha of Inman; daughter, Tracie Marie Weir Jordan of Wellford; grandchildren, Shalana Young and Randall Weir, both of Inman, Maranda Shrittze, Danny L. Jordan, and Kayla Marie Jordan, all of Wellford; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Diane Cartee of Spartanburg and Margaret Weathers of Inman. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lora Lynn Mendoza. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
