Alice Tetreault

Alice Ida Tetreault, 82, wife of Philip L. Mercier, of 205 Garden Court, Moore, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 18, 1928, in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Flora Dufresne Tetreault. Alice was an active member of the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior and a Nursing Education Coordinator for several State University and College programs. In additional to her husband, survivors include a sister, Gabrielle Descouzis of Austin, TX; step-children, Paula Cosgrove of Newtown, CT, Jane Lake of Hopewell Junction, NY, Carl Mercier of New Milford, CT, Louise Kessler of Newtown, CT, Michael Mercier of Folsom, CA; and five step-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior, by the Rev. Frank Palmieri, CRM.
