Aletia Joye Eubanks,77 of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away at her residence on March 12, 2024, after an extended illness. Aletia was born on October 2, 1946, in Pauline, South Carolina to the late Carol and Joye Vise.
Aletia found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for arts and crafts, sewing and quilting, painting and interior decorating not only brought her happiness but also touched the lives of those around her. She had a creative spirit that shone through in everything she did. One of Aletia's proudest accomplishments was her enduring marriage of 58 years to her husband Dan Eubanks. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Aletia was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren; she found immense joy in nurturing and caring for them.
Aletia will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her loving husband Dan Eubanks; a daughter; Dana Simmons (Roger) and two sons; Terry Scott Eubanks (Emily), Ryan C. Eubanks (Becky); her four grandchildren; Katelyn Simmons, Ian Eubanks, Tegan Eubanks, and Tyler Eubanks; as well as her siblings; a brother; Kennon Vise (Karen), and two sisters; Sharon Barnes, and Marshia Heath. Aletia was predeceased by her father Carol Vise and mother Joye Vise, a brother Timothy Vise, and a granddaughter Nichole Eubanks.
Aletia's life will be remembered and celebrated during Visitation Friday March 15, 2024, starting at 1 o’clock followed by a Memorial Service at 2 o’clock. Services will be held at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, located at 2075 E. Main Street Spartanburg, SC 29307.
