Alan La Lande

Alan Anthony La Lande, 73, of Duncan, SC, died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 26, 1949 in Gladstone, Michigan, he was the son of the late Eli and Joyce K. Boardson La Lande.

Alan was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University and was retired from Michelin North America after 30 years of service. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gilbert La Lande of the home; daughters, Tonya La Lande (Jason Durham) of Charlotte, NC, Brandy Woollens, and Heather Spisak of Simpsonville, SC and Amber Moore (Darin) of Greenville, SC; stepdaughter, Tammie Lambert (David) of Greer, SC; three grandchildren, Preston Spisak, Mykella Spisak, Ian Woolens; step grandchildren, Abigail Moore, Emily Moore, Dylan Lambert and Austin Lambert; and his sister, Diana Charlton (Michael) of Tennessee.

Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369.
