Agnes West Lark, 89, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Eden Terrace Assisted Living. Born June 10, 1922, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late George West, and Margaret Brown Collins and her husband Claude. She was the wife of the late Hugh Henry Lark. Mrs. Lark was a member of Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church and retired from the Spartanburg County Tax Office. Survivors include her granddaughter, Dana Lark Williamson and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Dawson, and Carson Williamson; a brother, Raymond West; and a sister, Reba Crow. She was predeceased by a son, George Hugh Lark; and a sister, Evelyn "Scoot" Jobe. Visitation will be 2:00-3:15 PM Sunday, July 17, 2011, in the sanctuary of Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 PM, conducted by the Rev. Douglas Gilliland and the Rev. Ken Bobo. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3450 Cannon's Camp Ground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of her granddaughter.
