Agnelo Cipriano D’Souza, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, November 12, 2021. Born October 12, 1941 in Tanzania, East Africa, he was the son of the late Anthony Manuel and Lily D’Souza.
Agnelo was retired from Arrow Automotive. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Agnelo loved the ocean, fishing and sightseeing.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Stella Mendes D’Souza, his son, Lionel D’Souza, and “Cookie” his Chihuahua. He was predeceased by his brothers, Alban D’Souza, John D’Souza, Leo D’Souza and Andrew D’Souza, his sisters, Laura Menezes, Lena Louis, Emily Gomes, and Carmen D’Souza.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Historic Church, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302, conducted by The Rev. David R. Whitman. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
