Agatha Johnson

Agatha "Gay" Johnson, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born March 19, 1921, in Gelsenkirchen, German, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Frieda Tomberg Strupek and widow of Earl Johnson. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL and former employee of Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. Survivors include her daughters, Lynn (Robert) Casden of Deer Park, IL, and Lorie Klickman of Spartanburg, SC; affectionately known as "Oma" to her loving grandchildren, Amy and Melissa Casden, Marshall (Jesse) Klickman, Miles (Bekah) Klickman, Harrison Klickman, and Spencer Klickman; and great-grandchildren, Remmy, Emmett, and Elijah Klickman. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Chicago.
