Ada Morgan

Barbara Ada "Mimi" Spencer Morgan, 100, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 9, 2017. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was born December 10, 1916, in Spartanburg, to the late Columbus Mitchell Spencer and Fannie Ward Spencer and was the widow of Jack A. Morgan. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Cherokee Springs Baptist Church and retired from Community Cash after 36 years of service. Surviving are her daughter, Lynn Moore (Joe); and granddaughter, Lindsay Bartholomew (Chris), all of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Oscar Spencer and John H. Spencer. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Michael Boiter.
