Ada May Roe Heenan, 93, of 109 Russell Street, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 4, 1915, in Evansville, IN, and reared in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Frederick T. and Gabrielle Dayries Roe and the wife of the late Charles Thomas Heenan. She attended Purdue University, graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and was a former teacher in Olean, NY, and an artist in Spartanburg. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic, the Arts Partnership of Spartanburg, and the Artist Guild. Survivors include two sons, Charles Thomas Heenan and his wife Linda of Lakeland, FL, and Sean Heenan and his wife Kim of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Michele Salisbury of Bowling Green, KY, and Gabrielle Lindelof and her husband Doug of Sebastopol, CA; seven grandchildren, Kathleen Urciuoli of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Salisbury of Denver, CO, John Salisbury of Minneapolis, MN, Michael Salisbury of Denver, CO, Hannah Lindelof of San Francisco, CA, Erica Lindelof of Kalaheo, HI, and Thomas Heenan of Charlotte, NC; and four great-grandchildren, Gisella Urciuoli, Luke, Aaron, and Patrick Davis. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church conducted by the Rev. James M. Crowley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sierra Club of SC, P. O.
