Robert Stone

Robert "Bob" Edward Stone, 78, of Moore, SC, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 1, 1938, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Silas Eugene and Erma Merle Williams Stone of Waycross, GA. Mr. Stone was an electrician for Earnhardt Electrical, an electrical foreman for Davis Mechanical, an adjuster for Home Finance, manager of South Carolina National Bank, founder of Spartanburg Siding & Window Company, and retired as a sales associate with Hanes Hosiery. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #357 and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his children, Lisa Stone Pellegrino (Adam) of Moore, SC and Robert Allen Stone (Juliette) of Woodruff, SC; grandchildren, Carson Olivia Pellegrino, Vivian Clair Pellegrino, Lillian Rose Pellegrino, Stone Wesley Pellegrino, Robert William Stone, and Dillon Powell Stone; and sister, Ann Stone Cannon of Roebuck, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Nell Stone Hanna; and brothers, Silas Eugene Stone, John Wesley Stone, and Fred Smith. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Chad Norris and the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
