Robbie Massey

Robbie Earl Massey, 29, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Born March 9, 1988, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Robert Earl Massey and his wife Elaine of Columbia, SC and Tabbatha Ann Aiken and her husband Cruz Merida of Laurens, SC. Robbie was a member of Fairforest Church of God and employed with Spartanburg Methodist College. In addition to his parents, survivors include his sisters, Jessica Massey and Silvia Aiken, both of Laurens, SC; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Massey of Boiling Springs, SC; maternal grandmother, Joyce Waddell Aiken of Lyman, SC; nieces, Janessa Centeno and Jesarra Rivera; and very special friend, Quantesha Allen. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2017, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, by the Rev. John Petty, III. Burial will be in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Rd., Moore, SC 29369. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Robbie's honor be made to Spartanburg Methodist College Student Development Fund, 1000 Powell Mill Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
