Lee Rives

Joseph Lee Rives Jr., 55, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Friday, September 21, 2018, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born October 10, 1962, in Tuscaloosa, AL, he was the son of Joseph Lee Rives Sr. of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Paula Nell Roberts Rives. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and member of New Prospect Baptist Church. In addition to his father, survivors include his daughter, Jessica Leigh Rives of Boiling Springs, SC. He was predeceased by his brothers, Mark Roberts Rives and William Christopher Rives. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2018, at New Prospect Baptist Church, by The Rev. Matthew Bishop. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, at a later date.
