Kaye Harris

Kaye McClure Harris, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, August 27, 2018, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born September 12, 1953, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of William Hovey McClure and Doris Owens McClure of Landrum, SC and widow of Gregory Dean Harris. A graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College, Mrs. Harris was the first female detective with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, survivors include her children, Ashley Harris Price (Eddie), Amber Harris Hulsey, and William Wesley Harris, all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Harris Price, Mason Hulsey, Landon Harris, and Remi Price; sisters, Jeanie Gooch (John) of Pauline, SC and Lisa Dyer of Aiken, SC; and brothers, Hov McClure (Sueanne) and Eric McClure, all of Landrum, SC. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by Pastor David Grigg and Rev. Hambone Camp. Visitation will follow the service in the Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Drive, Landrum, SC 29356. The family is at their respective homes.
