Joseph Turner

Joseph Daniel "Buster" Turner, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home. Born January 30, 1941 in Fort Mill, SC, he was the son of the late Phil and Bertha Neely Turner. A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Turner worked for Millwright Inc. and Couiernet. He loved joking around, watching sports, football and NASCAR, and going to the fish camp. Mr. Turner was a proud member of The View Church (formerly Mountain View Church). Survivors include his wife Lynda Bolton Turner; daughter, Lavonda T. Webb of Shermans Dale, PA; son, Michael Turner (Cindy) of Chesnee, SC; grandsons, Josh Webb (Amber Day) of Boiling Springs, SC and Chris Webb (Tabitha Hand) of Inman, SC; great-grandchildren, Zach Webb, Tori Webb, Bella Grace Emory, Kingston Linder, Rivers Webb, and Hunter Sherbert, and sisters, Bessie Oglesby of Cowpens, SC and Pete Holcomb of Clifton, SC. Visitation will be held 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, April 5, 2021, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by The Rev. Tyler Kirby. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
