Jeff Lawson

Jeff Lawson, 57, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 3, 1963 in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of Bennie Lawson and Diane Curtis Scoggins.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Lawson was formerly with Water Treatment Services. He was an avid fisherman, played neighborhood basketball, loved to play poker, and was a member of the American Pool Players Association. The most memorable times with Jeff were family cookouts while gathering around to play guitars. Jeff loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Lawson, his children, Jordan Scott Lawson of Forest City, NC, Jenna Elizabeth Lawson, Ryan Charles Byers (Sydnie), Steven Kristopher Byers, all of Spartanburg, SC, granddaughters, Emma-Grace Byers, and one on the way, Rylynn Scott Byers, his siblings, Pamela Simmons (Todd), Kevin Lawson (Stephanie), Cheryl Lawson, and Brenda Lawson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
