Donna Blanchard

On September 22, 2017 Donna Blanchard, 87, entered her heavenly home with Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Blanchard. She was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Restoration Church of Spartanburg, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Donna was a homemaker, a prayer intercessor and had a gift of hospitality. Her life was devoted to serving others with humility and grace as exemplified by Jesus Christ. She is survived by her four daughters, Mrs. Cynthia Smith of Mechanicsville, VA; Mrs. Nancy Bove of Naples, FL; Mrs. Teresa Cheser of Spartanburg, SC, and Mrs. Peggy Padgett of Enoree, SC; five grandchildren, Mr. Joshua Smith, Ms. Shari Smith of Mechanicsville, VA; Mr. Justin Greene of Greenville, SC; Mrs. Katie Rasmussen of Athens, GA; and Mrs. Susan Krauss of Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306, conducted by the Rev. Don Horton and the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
