Carolyn Crocker

Carolyn Poole Crocker, 72, of Converse, SC, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 1, 1944, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Kennedy Poole. Mrs. Crocker was a member of Converse Baptist Church and retired from Smith, Kesler & Company, P. A. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Crocker; son, Greg Denton of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Donnie Jones of Gaffney, SC; sister, Dawn Poole of Gaffney, SC; and stepson, Lee Crocker of Lawrenceville, GA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Johnny Denton. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Converse Baptist Church, 325 Main St., Converse, SC 29329, by the Rev. Dr. Mike Davis, the Rev. Michael Boyter, the Rev. Eddie Willis, and the Rev. Daniel Godfrey. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC 29376.
