Benjamin C. Pittman Sr., of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Bakersville, NC, he was the son of the late Edward Arthur Pittman and Elizabeth Warren Pittman. A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Pittman was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and retired from Milliken. Survivors include his son, Benjamin C. Pittman Jr. (Linda) of Greenville, SC; daughter, Donna L. Pittman of the home; family member of the home, Leslie Young; grandchildren, Kady A. Moore (Chris) of Boiling Springs, SC, Tanner W. Pittman (Julia) of Auburn, AL, and Trevor H. Pittman of Boiling Springs, SC; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Juanita Floyd of Bristol, TN, Boyd Pittman of Belmont, NC, Mac Pittman of Cramerton, NC, and Reginald Pittman of Kings Mountain, NC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Anna Frances Woods Pittman; daughter, Tammy Pittman Ducker; and siblings, Edward Pittman Jr., Linda Lucas, Janice Johnson, and Warren Pittman. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Keith Davis.
